Late winter is a difficult time to showcase the landscape of a home, yet the 2009 Atlanta Decorator’s Showhouse put forth the challenge to do just that. Early blooming bulbs were chosen to mass throughout the site, and winter-blooming forsythia and flowering quince dotted the landscape. The design features a traditional knot garden to be viewed from several vantage points in the home, as well as an azalea bowl, natural stone paths, a renovated natural stone pool area, and an entry courtyard shining with jewel-toned annual color. The showhouse event included the work of prominent designers from Atlanta from various disciplines.
